Born and raised in West Branch, Michigan, Dr. Brenda Kingen experienced health crises at an early age that helped shape her appreciation for the care she received. Dr. Kingen knew she wanted to become a chiropractor when she began experiencing debilitating pain while working at a local factory and playing softball while on summer break from her undergraduate studies. Shocked and inspired by her body's ability to heal itself without pharmaceuticals or surgery, Dr. Kingen knew at that moment what direction her professional career should take.
